Here at the Ryedale Folk Museum, we work closely with teachers to ensure a memorable learning experience for children. We provide a unique ‘hands-on’ practice located within the rescued historical buildings from around the Ryedale area. We provide an authentic understanding of traditional ways of life ranging from the construction of a Cruck framed house in the Elizabethan Manor House to making bread, butter and vegetable stew in Crofter’s Cottage.
