Come join us for storytelling sessions from 11am onwards.
Jerry Epstein and Ralph Bodington Tour 2009 1st
Join us for fantastic singing and banjo performances from these great American musicians. Jerry regularly sings 'old songs old style' on both sides of the Atlantic whilst for Ralph this will be his first visit to England after retiring from well-digging. Ralph is an exceptional exponent of the old-time style of banjo and a great ballad singer.

Rosa Mundi 30th - 31st
This brilliant group of re-enactors take over the museum once more to give visitors an insight into medieval life.
Napoleon's Jailer 6th
Join Paul Brunyee for the signing of his newly released book and a fascinating presentation on Private Matthew Grimes, of Thornton Dale. From 1819 until Napoleon's death in 1821, Grimes was stationed at St. Helena and was a guard of the ‘Corsican Ogre’. Tickets £5 (Includes entrance to the museum, the talk and a glass of wine.)
Les Reveilles and JetSet Border Morris Dancers 6th
Jet Set were formed in 1999 with the intention of bringing traditional Border Morris to the area – the moors and coastline between Whitby and Saltburn – with a few minor changes. They are hosting a French dancing group, Les Reveilles. JetSet Border Morris will perform a dance display at 2pm, followed by a workshop. All visitors are invited to join in!
Les Reveilles will perform their programme at 3:15.
