Museums at Night - Late opening and Harrison collection talk 16th
Visit the museum after hours to explore our range of historic buildings before finding out more about our latest exciting development - take the opportunity to be introduced to parts of the Harrison Collection by the Harrison brothers themselves! The museum will be open from 6pm with the Harrison's talk beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets cost £10 each and include entry to the museum and talk as well as wine and nibbles.

Iron Age Re-enactors 23rd - 25th
The museum's Iron Age settlement will be brought to life by this fantastic group of re-enactors.

May Half Term Activities 23rd - 31st
Folklore and Traditions - themed activities will run throughout the whole half term week.

Ryedale Folk Weekend 23rd, 24th and 25th
The Festival on the Moor team return to Ryedale Folk Museum. A great bank holiday weekend event for everyone with concerts, workshops and family entertainment. For tickets or more information please contact the Festival on the Moor Box Office on 01287 660200.

Dark Skies 2nd
Dark Sky Yorkshire Family Fun Day! Build your own rocket and lunar rover, see a show in a mobile planetarium, and learn about the wonders of the night sky from real astronomers. Activites run from 11am to 5pm. Cost is £5 a family plus usual museum admission.

May Day! 4th
Maypole dancing and other traditional activities. Come along and join in!
