'Nearly New' 17th
This performance will begin at 7:30pm. 'Nearly New' takes the audience on a journey through an unfathomable web of enchanting stories, romantic moments and long lost memories. Combining dance, theatre, folk, music, lots of old junk and the chance to win some peculiar prizes, '103 Falling Birds' present an unforgettable evening which promises to entertain and beguile you, as well as get your feet tapping! Tickets will be on sale at the museum from the beginning of October. Adults: £4, Concessions: £2. Please phone 01751 417367 to book.

October Half Term Activities 24th - 31st
Join in our Potato Week celebration and Big Draw activites.

American Folk Music 25th
Performance by Dave Ruch 1pm-3pm. (Please note there is no additional charge for the concert but usual museum admission charges apply.) Dave Ruch is a special musician and performer widely noted for his ability to engage audiences of all kinds. Equal parts historian, entertainer, educator, comedian and folklorist, he finds his song material in dusty archives, obscure songbooks, diaries, old recordings, scholarly journals and sometimes from his own children, bringing these gems to life in a most entertaining style.

Halloween Party 31st
The museum comes alive once more between 6 and 8pm to provide a Halloween Party with a difference. Take part in our family fun activites around the museum buildings. Warm clothes and a torch recommended! Tickets will cost £3.50 per person (under 4's free) and will be available at the museum from the 1st October.

Storytelling in the museum with Sarah Eastes 31st
Spend a spooky Halloween evening listening to stories. From 6:00pm onwards.

Threshing Day 4th
Come along to the museum to see our restored threshing machine in action (depending on the success of the harvest!) and take part in other traditional crafts and activities.
